Subject: Off-Ice Stick play in the rink.

It has been brought to the Board of Directors' attention that there have been children playing with sticks and pucks/balls in the off-ice rink area.  There has already been minor damge to the brand new doors in the rink.  This is absolutely unacceptable.  It is a strict rule that there is NO stick play anywhere in the rink other than on the ice. 

Rink Management has warned MAHA that if off-ice stick play continues, and damage is found again, the cost of repairs will be passed on to MAHA.  The Board, would hate to have to pass this charge on to the membership.

There is an easy solution:  Please, if you see any children anywhere around the rink playing with sticks and pucks/balls, nicely ask them to stop.  Explain that this is not allowed in our rink.  If we all work on this together, we will have no further issues.
